My new venture started this week. I am thrilled to share that I have taken up the position of General Manager at HBI Enzymes Inc. I am currently in Shiso-shi, Hyogo where our headquarters locate. Shiso-shi is well known for being the birthplace of Japanese Sake. It is a breathtaking place surrounded by nature, with clean air and water.

It is interesting that fermentation has been carried out in such a historical place. HBI Enzymes has a unique portfolio, especially, protease and mannanase etc., which are produced through both liquid and solid fermentation processes. I am planning to expand our business beyond Japan and very much looking forward to seeing my friends again in this small world.
